Place – How can potential customers access your products and/or services? Do you have a convenient business location? Can they view your products and services on the Internet and order them on-line? Is your telephone system responsive and customer-friendly?

Price – It is important to put the correct value on your products and services so you are competitive in the marketplace but also profitable as a business.

Promotion – To effectively promote your business, you should consider your target market, what and where you want to promote, what resources you need, and the strategies needed for reaching your potential customers.

The Sunriver Area Chamber of Commerce offers a wide range of promotional opportunities that assist its members in reaching their target markets. EVENTS

Business After Hours – The Chamber’s monthly business promotion and networking event. Held 5 to 7 pm on the third Tuesday of each month. After Hours showcases the host member’s business. Open to the public.

Business Forums – Education programs targeted to business owners and employees. Breakfast meetings, held twice quarterly. Event sponsorship of $300 includes use of sponsor banner, distribution of marketing materials, and a sponsor announcement at the event.

Community Forums – Information presentations designed to keep the general public abreast of issues that affect the greater Sunriver community. Held each quarter. Open to the public. Event sponsorship of $300 includes use of sponsor banner, distribution of marketing materials, and a sponsor announcement at the event.

Ribbon-Cutting Ceremonies – Ribbon Cuttings celebrate and give market exposure to grand openings, anniversaries and other notable accomplishments of member businesses. Ribbon-Cuttings showcase a member’s business. Open to the public.

Annual Dinner – The Chamber’s annual dinner, held in late winter, recaps the year’s accomplishments and recognizes the work of the Chamber’s many volunteers. Sponsorships at various levels of support are available. Open to the public.

ADVERTISING & BUSINESS LISTINGS

Business Intelligence Report – A quick-read resource that provides the Chamber’s business members with the latest strategies, trends, tips and news for making their businesses more successful in today’s marketplace. E-mailed to more than 300 Chamber members and their employees monthly. Exclusive sponsorship of $200/month includes front page banner ad linked to the sponsor’s web site. Discount for pre-paid annual contract.

Visitors Center – The Chamber’s attractive Visitors Center is a one-stop shopping center for visitors, vacationers and residents looking for information about Sunriver and the local area. Chamber members may display their business cards and marketing brochures in the Center at no charge. Wall display advertising is available at $100 per month for a 2 x 4 ft ad or $25 per month for an 8-1/2 x 11 inch ad with brochure and business card holder. Discount for pre-paid annual contract.

Business Directory – Published annually, the Chamber’s Business Directory lists all business members and their contact information free of charge. More than 2,000 copies are distributed to Sunriver property owners, visitors and vacationers. Advertising in the directory is available through the publisher, Sunriver Publishing, Inc.

Referral Listings – Chamber members can subscribe to the Referral Listings program to obtain monthly lists of visitor inquiries to the Central Oregon Visitors Association and Sunriver Chamber. The listing gives contact information for people who have inquired about visiting or vacationing in Sunriver, buying a home or vacation property, or relocating to the Sunriver area. A subscription is $50/month. Discount for pre-paid annual contract.

WEB SITE ADVERTISING

An average of nearly 300 people visit the Sunriver Chamber’s web site daily for a total of almost 110,000 “hits” annually.  This high volume of visitors to our site ensures that your web advertising message realizes its full potential as a marketing tool for your business.

Level 1 Sponsorship – The Home Page is the first page visited on our web site and is the primary advertising position. Sponsorship of $300/month includes a 6 to 10 second banner ad with hot link to your web site; rotates every minute. Also includes an additional banner ad on a Level 2 or 3 web page and a Highlight Box with 25-word description in the Business Directory. 10% discount for pre-paid annual contract (12 months).

Level 2 Sponsorship – These web site pages are accessed by clicking on the buttons on the left side of the web page. They are the next most frequently visited and are an excellent way of marketing your business at a lower cost. Choose from “Our Community, Visitor & Vacation Information, Community Events Calendar, Business Directory, Relocate to Sunriver, Start a Business in Sunriver and About the Chamber.” Sponsorship of $200/month includes a 6 to 10 second banner ad with hot link to your web site; rotates every minute. Also includes one additional banner ad on a Level 3 web page and a Highlight Box with 25-word description in the Business Directory. 10% discount for pre-paid annual contract (12 months).

Level 3 Sponsorship – These web site pages are accessed by clicking on the keywords listed under QUICKLINKS on the right side of the web page. They are most economical way of targeting your advertising message to specific areas of interest. Choose from any Level 3 web page. Sponsorship of $100/month includes a 6 to 10 second banner ad with hot link to your web site; rotates every minute. 10% discount for pre-paid annual contract (12 months).

Web Business Directory Enhanced Listing – Choose a Highlight Box for your free listing and hot link in the web site’s Business Directory and grab the viewer’s attention as they search for products and services. Enhanced listings appear at the top of search results. Listing enhancement fee of $120/year includes a colored highlight box around your listing plus a 25-word description of your business. A photo or your logo can be added for an additional one-time fee of $25. Pre-paid annual contract only (12 months).

Members can be listed under two business categories in the Directory as part of their basic membership in the Chamber. Additional category listings are $25 each per year.
